Wedding videos are boring. But ‘Paper Cranes’ has pretty much revolutionised how we see wedding videos in Australia and around the world. Beautiful love stories to capture the most important day of their life. I really like this thank you video the ‘Paper Cranes’ crew made! Simple and sweet. By the way congrats to Bernard Lau who is part of this amazing crew and blogmaster@ SIlverkottage.com.au
《想講你知》 MV - G.E.M. 鄧紫棋 Just want to say: this is just plain dumb pop music. Quirky video with a cute Asian girl prancing around with a camera taking photos of her room. Followed by a bunch of girls playing around with photoshop on her iMac? Why don’t those Jessica Alba wannabes get plastic to look like G.E.M?! Huh? Why not???
SOUNDS LIKE: when Christina Aguilera sang ‘Genie in a Bottle’ and ‘What a girl wants’ mixed with Joey Yung early days.

MIYAVI -NEO TOKYO SAMURAI BLACK WORLD TOUR? Looks like this J-ROCKstar has Overdosed himself on the emo goth make up! Miyavi

![Most absurd headline this week. Chinese girl to get Plastic surgery to look like Jessica Alba to win back boyfriend. Happy Valentines DAY!
You know when Chinese girls are screwed when girls like these wanna look like Jessica Alba. Not since the cultural revolution of China that girls has been affected so much by one Hollywood tart. Now you know why China censors google content and many Hollywood shows and films are banned or have super tight restrictions what is allowed into the gates of the Middle Kingdom. China dictates what can be viewed or infiltrated into the mainstream Chinese culture and this is just one reason; why they do what they do. Its not Christian. Its not Jehovah or Amish . Its just plain Chinese. They don’t want excessive negative culture from Western society influencing their 5000 years culture. Its bad enough sweet and sour pork stalls have to compete with the growing Starbucks and McDonalds growing by the day.
Plastic surgery and its multi-million dollar artificial culture and the machine behind it has made many Hollywood celebs famous for the wrong and right reasons. Nip- tuck anyone? But never was plastic surgery this crazy has made anyone want their ex-lover back!!! Well never has made headlines this insane. Ok most people who consider surgery want to look more presentable to attract some sort of attention for sex. Ok thats acceptable I think. Or they are just humans filled with alot of insecurity urging a knife bladed into their face by a surgeon. Some cases its because they are recent burn victims or had a major car accident & ended up like Freddy Cruger. But this girl looks perfectly fine and natural. In fact she is cute in Asian standards. By wanting to look like MS Alba shows how much Hollywood has affected young teens in China. Its not a good sign. Asians wearing blonde wigs wanting to look like another race? Or even in this case the 21 year old from China wants to have the qualities of a gene pool derived from Jessica’s mix blood heritage. The exotic look and this case; multiple races is a result of Alba’s mother she is of Danish and French Canadian descent and her father is Mexican American, though both of his parents were born in California. Not Chinese at all.*sighs* Someone find the ex-boyfriend of this poor girl and get some therapy. Disturbing.
[ Imitation is not the sincerest form of flattery for Jessica Alba.
The actress said on Saturday she’s been distressed by internet reports about a Chinese woman who is having a plastic surgery makeover to look like Alba in hopes of getting her lover back.
“I think you should never have to change yourself like that,” Alba said. “If somebody loves you, they’ll love you no matter what.”]

G.E.M. Tang is part of the new generation for HK music. G.E.M is the new Joey Yung
‘All About You’ is super similar to to Joey’s debut single ‘未知’ of ten years earlier. Super sweet and super Americanised with the current trends in HK pop..r’n’b-esque and totally unoriginal yet good enough to be popular among the new gen of iTEENs born with their iPods.
To be fair this girl G.E.M has better vocals than Joey Yung and actually looks like a natural beauty unlike Miss Yung’s fair share of criticism including her oversized head. Joey’s unfavourable looks also went under the knife after the success of her debut album which was a pale imitation of Jennifer Paige’s ‘Crush’. Poor girl looks like G.E.M will supersede Joey’s pop music status very soon if Miss Tang continues with great hooks and melodies like these including more well crafted videos by the Hummingbird people.
If you question G.E.M’s talent in this sugary track ‘ALL ABOUT YOU’ how about her LIVE cover of Alicia Key’s ‘Fallin’…wow just wow goosebumps anyone?

桃色冒險 Joey Yung’s Perfect ‘Ten’ Opening Track video is a prelude to the Sydney Concert in March?
In early 2008 Miss Joey Yung performed an inaugural spectacle at the Hong Kong Colosseum; this time 2 years later on March 28th 2010., Joey will perform at the Sydney Entertainment Centre and in Melbourne on the 26.03.10 the Hisense Arena. In the music video 桃色冒險 the new ethereal opening instrumentals and ambience is very psychedelic unlike Joey’s earlier material. Her new track 桃色冒險 appearing on the new EP ‘10’ only consists of 5 tracks but this is just a commemorative issue for her 10 years in the Canto-pop music business.

Augmented Reality by M.Arch candidate Keiichi Matsuda
Matsuda was studying architecture when he made this video. ’AUGMENTED REALITY’ is uber-cool depicting a consumer culture gone mad! Well its very smart how he augmented modern society with the virtual reality he expresses in this semi-art semi-architectural walk through. The whole walk through is just showing him making a simple couple of milk/tea. You have to watch it to believe it.
PS: he is also known as the domestic robo-cop if you know what I mean.

This Nemo Sushi photo has been circulating the internet for quite sometime but this is the sequel. RSPCA anyone? Calling all raw fish lovers!
Oh my gawd…!
Vietnamese Veteran Finds Son on Facebook.
This story is just amazingly touching to the heart. On CNN news this Vietnemase veteran 36 years ago was in Phom Phemh during the period 1972-1973 Vietnam War. In 2010 he decides to purchase an iPhone and try out what the hell is facebook. A few days later he gets a mail asking by a young man in Paris, a Eurasian with Vietnamese/Caucasian questioning him where he was in the 70’s. Peter told him he met a young Vietnamese lady named Ko Kim Lin and fell in love and after the war never got to see her ever again.
Apparently this French/Vietnamese father of two is actually his long lost son. Its one of those stories you have to watch it to believe. The wonders of Facebook! His son Richard never knew it was that easy to find his long lost dad on Facebook. All this time Peter McKibben had thought his lover and son were killed in the war.

BATTLE STAR GALACTICA’S GRACE PARK GRACES MAXIM MAGAZINE COVER
This sci-fi chick Grace Park follows the footsteps of the Yellow Power ranger from MIGHTY MORPIN bringing the hotness back to teen sci-fi. Gracing the cover of MAXIM mens magazine with fellow co-star Tricia Helfer both looking stunning hot and oozing sex appeal for all those nerdy sci-fi fan boys out there. Last time I watched Battle star Galactica I witnessed a Sarah Palin and John McCain lookalike ruling the mothership. EW!
“Grace Park (born March 14, 1974) is a Canadian actress. She is best known as Sharon Valerii(and the various other iterations of Number Eight, a humanoid Cylon) on Battlestar Galactica.. She’s currently co-starring in the A&E series The Cleaner and the CBC series The Border. Ironically, she was in a movie together with John Cho titled West 32nd.”
